SI 2013/1945 – The Firearms (Amendment) Rules 2013 (link)
These Rules replace the existing two application forms for a firearm certificate and a shotgun certificate with one new single application form that applies for the purposes of both applications. Firearms may be used offshore for the purposes of flare lighting, meaning these certificates are often required for offshore installations.
