SI 2013/1471 The Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations 2013 (link)
This Statutory Instrument introduces changes to the way in which Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences must be reported. The regulations come into force in October 2013.
The changes aim to simplify the way in which reporting is done, while ensuring more accurate data about the nature of the incidents are recorded.
A list of ‘specified injuries’ and reportable diseases is provided – both of which differ from the previous legislation. The list of ‘dangerous occurrences’ is also replaced.
