SI 2013/526 The Marine Licensing (Exempted Activities) (Amendment) Order 2013 (link)
This Order amends the Marine Licensing (Exempted Activities) Order 2011 (S.I. 2011/409) (link). This Order applies in relation to any area, and any licensable marine activity carried on in that area, in relation to which the Secretary of State is the appropriate licensing authority by virtue of section 113 of the Marine and Coastal Access Act 2009.
Modifications are made to the conditions subject to which activities do not require a marine licence, including: marine chemical substances, marine oil treatment substances and substances for removing surface fouling matter; activities relating to scientific instruments, reagents and tracers; removal activity carried out for the purpose of taking a sample for testing or analysis; and removal activity carried out for the purpose of removing objects accidentally deposited on the seabed.
