HSE Offshore Information Sheet 01/2013 – Application of Health and Safety Law Offshore (link)
This Information Sheet provides guidance on the legislative changes introduced by the Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974 (Application outside Great Britain) Order 2013, which is expected to come into effect on 6th April 2013.
The Order will revoke both the Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974 (Application outside Great Britain) Order 2001 and the Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974 (Application outside Great Britain) (Variation) Order 2011. It re-enacts their provisions with modifications and introduces new articles associated with emerging energy technologies.
