CAP 437: Offshore Helicopter Landing Areas – Guidance on Standards
The 6th Edition was further revised in August 2010 to incorporate valuable experience gained from CAA-funded research projects conducted with the support of the UK offshore industry. For the first time guidance is included for the design of winching area arrangements located on wind turbine platforms. Amendment 02/2010 amends guidance relating to helicopter winching areas on wind turbine platforms, helideck lighting and foam-making equipment.
